As the Director of Product Management, Matt drives the charge toward customer-centric payment experiences for small- to mid-sized businesses. Invested with the bank’s innovation efforts, he collaborates with Fintechs and vendors, as well as bank customers and employees, to identify emerging opportunities in the industry and devise creative solutions to resolve business pain points. As he studies emerging innovations and works closely with customer accounts, his overarching goal is to simplify financial management for the businesses he serves.
Matt’s early years spent in military service encouraged the collaborative skills he would need to later become a vital member of FNBO’s product development and management team, preparing him to research, test and devise creative solutions to financial challenges. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Analysis and Management, and received a Certificate of Commendation from the U.S. Marine Corps. Matt first joined FNBO 10 years ago in Retail Banking, before moving into product management with a focus on cash conversion cycle products.
Matt enjoys his time away from the office by pursuing active endeavors. Golf is one of his favorites, but he also enjoys the more adventurous thrill of mountain and gravel biking. He is known for his skills in woodworking, a hobby he employs through service to Habitat for Humanity.
