Michael Doherty

Michael Doherty is Managing Director of Corporate Banking and Loan Syndications. Michael and his team work across FNBO’s seven-state footprint to help ensure our middle-market and corporate banking customers have access to the financing needed to continue to grow their businesses.

Credentials

Michael has more than 25-years of experience managing teams and businesses at regional and money center banks. Prior roles include executive positions in lending, loan syndication, and real estate development. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a former member of the board of directors of the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA), the industry association responsible for processing loan syndication market participants.

Passions

Michael lives in the Denver area with his wife and two daughters. He feels fortunate to call it home thanks to the wealth of outdoor activities available. Michael is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying hiking, biking, skiing and golf. He also believes in giving back to the community he loves, which he does through support of local community organizations.
