Mark is the Colorado Market President for First National Bank. He takes pride in his work and the opportunity it affords him to make a real difference in the community. Mark works directly with the Wholesale Banking team, representing the bank’s business in all markets and growing strong client relationships.
Mark began his banking career in Commercial Lending as a Business Development Officer. He acted as a bank president for nine years before joining Colorado State University as an Athletic Director. While there, he had many experiences that taught him how to be an even better banker. He returned to the industry in 2006, joining First National Bank in his current role. He has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University. Mark is also a council board member for the Colorado Bankers Association and the Employers Council.
Mark enjoys staying fit, particularly through cycling. He also pursues interests in radio broadcasting but says his proudest moments come from being a loving grandfather.
Mark also supports the cause of several civic organizations, acting as a board member for the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado and a privately-funded northern Colorado economic development organization known as One NOCO.
