As Lead Director for Agribusiness Banking, Landon enjoys working with customers to help them achieve their goals. He understands that agriculture and family are intertwined, so acts as a trusted advisor on both personal and business matters.
Landon was raised on a Christmas tree and grain farm and continues to work a portion of his own land to stay current on agricultural trends and markets. Since 2000, he has brought this experience to First National Bank, assisting clients with agricultural and commercial and industrial lending. Landon has a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness, Farm and Financial Management from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Northern Illinois University-DeKalb.
Landon’s personal pursuits take him around the country, but he favors mountain areas where he can set out on foot, bike or ATV. He is an avid sports follower, paying close attention to the University of Illinois, Chicago Blackhawks, and Green Bay Packers.
Landon also continues his dedication to agriculture through civic pursuits as a board member of the DeKalb County Farm Bureau Foundation.
I see myself not only as a lender, but as a trusted financial advisor that has broad expertise to be a value-added resource for my customer.
