Chris Fathke

As a former business owner, Chris has a passion for helping clients build successful operations. In his role as Senior Advisor of Community Banking at FNBO, he does just that. Chris gets to know his clients through personal conversations, learning about their short- and long-term goals. He then customizes banking solutions to fit their business situation, continuing to offer guidance over time around specialized lending and banking products.

Credentials

In addition to owning and operating his own small business, Chris has extensive experience in banking. His career in the field began in 2006 when he entered the world of education finance lending. He furthered is professional development through roles in loan operations and personal banking. Chris holds a degree in Business Administration-Finance from Southeast College.

Passions

Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, exploring the outdoors. Together, they hunt, fish, hike and have even been known to hit the golf course on occasion. While attending and coaching his children’s various sporting activities also takes up many hours each week, he leaves time to volunteer for organizations such as the United Way of Greater Yankton, where he is on the Board of Directors. Chris also acts as a Finance Board Member for Zion Lutheran Church.
