Max Luber
In his role as Senior Advisor of Commercial and Agribusiness at FNBO, Max is pleased to work with small businesses in the Grand Island markets. He enjoys spending one-on-one time with his clients and getting to know their business goals, before uniting with his wholesale banking team to devise the right solution to fit their needs.
Credentials
Max’s experience in commercial banking is long and includes previous roles as a relationship manager of a commercial portfolio as well as division leader of merchant card processing. He joined FNBO in 2017 in his current role, inheriting and growing a business portfolio in the Grand Island market.
Max earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He was named one of the Top 35 Under 35 by the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce and is an alumnus of the Hall County Leadership Tomorrow Class #30. He remains active in the Grand Island Young Professionals network.
Passions
Max says his passions tend to be sports related. Playing golf is one of his favorites, but if he can’t be out on the course, he’s happy to participate in any sport or watch a game on television. When the weather turns cold, he takes his interests south, joining his parents at their condo in Mesa, Arizona for a visit.
Of course, Max’s time for sports is often curtailed by his dedication to service. He is an active board and committee member for the Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity where he works on the family support, family selection and capacity grant committees. He is also a Junior Achievement instructor, an active member of the Riverside Golf Club and regularly supports Third City Christian Church where he actively participates as a member of the congregation.
