Eli Pierson

Sr. Advisor, Community Banking
Commercial Lending

Eli Pierson

Eli is a Senior Advisor of Community Banking, putting industry and agricultural experience to work for FNBO’s Wyoming markets. He often takes his role outside the walls of the bank, fostering client relationships through attendance at local events, such as Cheyenne Frontier Day. As a previous owner of a farming operation, he is uniquely in touch with his customer’s pain points and strives to devise the solutions that make banking more accessible for all.

Credentials

Eli’s career began in agriculture, where he learned the value of hard work while extending his industry knowledge. He moved into banking 5 years ago as a junior lender, carrying forward a strong desire to help farm and ranch operations as well as other area businesses to achieve growth objectives. He adopted a role as credit analyst in 2020, facilitating multiple operations with Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans, before moving into his current role in 2023. Eli earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming. He is currently entering his second year of the Leadership Laramie program, sponsored by the Laramie Chamber Business Alliance, where he fosters relationships with other business owners and professionals in the area.

Passions

With two daughters active in 4-H and softball, Eli finds himself spending much of his free time at local agricultural events. He also enjoys traveling back to his farm in Kansas where a small cow herd and some row crops await.  Eli finds it important to stay true to his agricultural roots. It’s one of his biggest passions, followed closely by attending University of Wyoming sporting events.

“The World Needs More Cowboys. This is a Wyoming quote that holds lots of meanings that apply to me and my way of life.”
