On the surface, Benjamin’s role as a Director of Commercial and Agribusiness Banking qualifies him to work with local businesses and operations on banking solutions that meet their needs. In reality, Benjamin understands that his line of work requires deeply committed relationships that transcend the ordinary working world and result in long-lasting bonds. By getting to know each of his customers individually, he is able to understand their hopes, aspirations and goals to align each financial service to the outcomes they hope to achieve.
Raised on a family farm and ranch in the mountains of northern Wyoming, Benjamin has had a lifetime of agricultural experience. His career in banking began more than a decade ago as he merged the skills from his upbringing into a role in agricultural lending. Benjamin obtained a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and applied economics from the University of Wyoming and is currently working toward a JD at the UNL College of Law.
Benjamin is a member of the American Bankers Association (ABA), Community Banks and Credit Unions (CBCU) and R-CALF USA.
Chasing two kids around keeps Benjamin busy, and his wife is always willing to fill in any gaps with a healthy slate of projects he’s happy to finish. Otherwise, reading for law school commands a good portion of his time, allowing him to snatch only precious moments dedicated to his passion for fishing, riding his motorcycle or taking to the skies piloting a plane.
Benjamin is a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the Nebraska Cattleman’s Association, and the Butler County Chamber of Commerce.
Being able to help others navigate their road to success and overcome their unique challenges, so they can build something they’re proud of is what banking’s all about.
