Tracy Sachtjen

Tracy, a Commercial and Agricultural Relationship Manager at FNBO, knows that putting customers first is his ultimate mission. He actively engages with company leaders and takes the time to personally understand each customer, learning about their life dreams and how their future vision aligns with business goals. He then draws from a wealth of hands-on experience in farming, ranching, entrepreneurship and banking, to guide his clients through every step of their journey, from starting a new operation through generational transitions.

Credentials

Tracy’s career began in agriculture with the largest farmer-owned cooperative in the USA. He consulted with customers in animal nutrition and health, while also working with the swine and beef packing industries. He later moved into banking with a small regional financial institution. Here, he worked to grow the bank’s FSA lending practice before joining FNBO to serve agricultural and commercial clients. Throughout his career, Tracy has continued to have direct involvement with his family ranching operation. He earned an associate degree in agriculture business and Livestock Management from SECC at Beatrice and is currently a member of the Nebraska Cattleman, American Hereford, and Nebraska Hereford Associations.

Passions

Farming and ranching, while closely aligned to his work, continue to be Tracy’s passion. He has owned a set of Registered Hereford Cattle for nearly 46 years and continues to serve both the 4-H organization and local FFA chapters.

“The Lord is my shepherd.”
