Frequently Asked Questions regarding the American Express network change to Visa:
You will keep receiving credit card statements as you have been (online or paper). After April 25, 2021, your statement will show your new Visa card number and program details. Please log into your account to print or save any copies of past statements and/or electronic summaries you want for your records. Past American Express statements will no longer be viewable online after April 22, 2021.
If you are enrolled in online account management or use our mobile app, you will access your account information online at the web address on the back of your card. Your online account information will reflect your credit card network change (including your new account number), and program details after April 25, 2021.
If you have Automatic Payments (AutoPay) set up to pay your credit card account, you will not need to make any changes to your payment information. If applicable, please update any recurring payments you have set up to pay bills using your credit card by April 24, 2021. Since your account number, expiration and CVV will change, you will need to contact each company where you have recurring payments set up and provide your updated account information. To avoid service interruptions or late payments, please be sure to do this prior to April 25, 2021.
Any points will automatically be rolled over to your new rewards program, which begins April 25, 2021. You won’t have to do anything – just keep using your account and we’ll handle the rest. Available points will be viewable online by April 28, 2021.
You can call us at the phone number on the back of your card with questions. A Cardmember Services Representative will be happy to help you.
