The ‘great big small bank’ is growing in Johnson County.

We’re adding three new branches in the metro area, expanding to a total of 10 locations.

Hello, Lenexa!

We’re FNBO, the great big small bank. Large enough to provide the expertise and resources for any financial need, yet small enough to know our customers personally.

With more than 4,000 employees, $24 billion in assets and nearly 100 locations throughout Nebraska, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota and Texas, we help our customers and communities succeed by fostering relationships at a local level. On June 7, we'll celebrate the grand opening of our newest branch, Sonoma Plaza, located at 8820 Maurer Road, in Lenexa. Our recently-opened Blue Valley Parkway branch at 7335 West 119th Street, in Overland Park, is off to a great start and we can't wait to show you College Square, under construction at 12260 College Boulevard. Stay tuned!

Take a tour of our new branch.

How our customers bank with us is ever-changing. See how FNBO is designing the branch experience to be less about transacting and more about providing financial advice and guidance.

We’re the great big small bank.

Our community-focused, people-centric values have been reflected throughout our company history.  With more than 160 years’ experience meeting our customers’ financial needs, First National Bank of Omaha has built a reputation for service few banks can match.

We have a history of doing what’s right for our customers, employees, shareholders and the communities in which we serve. Our Operating Philosophy and independent ownership have guided our long-term investments in facilities, processing technologies and infrastructure, rather than managing from quarter to quarter to satisfy Wall Street. We’ve been independent and family owned since 1857, which has been our recipe for success for six generations.

With nearly 100 retail banking locations in Nebraska, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota and Texas, we help our customers and communities to succeed by focusing on building relationships at a local level.
