Jason is a Director in Investment Management at First National Bank Wealth Management. He is responsible for managing the portfolios for personal trusts, institutions, foundations and endowments and creates client-focused investment portfolios that are well diversified across different asset classes.
Jason is a member of the leadership team that oversees the Illinois Wealth Management market and he’s a contributor to the division’s monthly market commentary and annual market outlook publications. He also serves on the investment team’s Asset Allocation and Mutual Fund Committees.
Jason joined First National Bank in 2016 and was an Economist/Research Analyst with Private Asset Management, Inc. in San Diego for eight years prior. He also served as a Research Associate with the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis for three years. Jason is a Chartered Financial Analyst and active member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Chicago. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from University of Wisconsin and a his Master’s degree in Economics from University of Missouri.
Jason recently moved back to the Midwest to raise his family and give his kids the opportunity to learn about family history while creating lasting memories and traditions with their grandparents.
When not managing portfolios or spending time with his family, Jason volunteers his time with the Community Foundation at the Fox River Valley and serves on the scholarship committee helping students finance their college education.
