Dan is a Financial Planner with the Private Client Advisory and Financial Planning teams within the Wealth Management group at First National Bank. He specializes in providing comprehensive personalized financial planning incorporating investment, tax, protection, retirement and estate planning strategies.
Credentials
Dan has worked in the financial services industry since 2008 specializing in financial planning and planning for families with special needs. Prior to that, Dan worked in engineering.
He holds many designations including being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC®), Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®), Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®). Dan is also an active member of the Nebraska Financial Planning Association (FPA) and Omaha Estate Planning Council.
Dan’s extensive knowledge extends beyond finance with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Naval Postgraduate School as well as his Master in Business Administration from Creighton University.
Passions
Dan enjoys reading, running, and working on household projects. He dedicates his time and talent while volunteering as a Special Olympics coach, a volunteer Tax Preparer for AARP, and serving on non-profit boards. Dan truly loves living in the Midwest and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
