Here’s where you’ll find all the helpful details for your upcoming transition to FNBO.
Our goal is to make this transition as seamless as possible. For most customers, day-to-day banking activities will continue much as they do today, and you'll continue working with the same friendly, knowledgeable team members you've come to know and trust in your community.

What's staying the same:
- Most deposit account numbers are expected to remain the same. If any updates are needed, we'll communicate directly with affected customers and provide guidance every step of the way.
- Direct deposits and automatic transfers, including BillPay, are expected to continue without interruption.
- Most existing Blue Ridge Bank products and services, including personal checks, debit cards and online banking services, will continue to be available. Should any products or services be affected by the transition, we'll provide information and next steps to impacted customers.
- For customers with lending accounts: Your current loan terms and payment process are expected to remain the same. We'll keep you informed as we introduce future enhancements to your lending experience.
What's changing:
- Effective October 1, 2026, overdraft fees will be eliminated from all personal checking accounts.
- Effective October 1, 2026, Blue Ridge Bank and Trust Co., a division of FNBO, will no longer offer money orders, payroll cards or prepaid gift cards.
- Important: If you have deposit accounts at both Blue Ridge Bank and Trust Co. and FNBO, your combined balances may exceed FDIC insurance limits. Please review the enclosed FDIC insert and consider consulting with your banker to ensure maximum protection for your deposits. Learn More

Yes. You can continue using MoneyPass® ATMs just as you do today. There are no changes to ATM access at this time.
