Consumer Overdraft Monitoring

When an item (such as a check) is presented for payment on an account with insufficient funds, here’s what you can expect based on our general banking practices:

Our Banking Associates will receive notification of the overdrawn account. The Banking Associate will consider paying the item based on criteria such as the account type, transaction type, balance history, length of customer relationship, and what you have previously selected as your preferred method for us to handle your account in the event an overdraft occurs. If necessary, a Banking Associate may reach out to you if they want to discuss the item further before deciding to pay or return the item.

The payment of transactions into overdraft is discretionary and we reserve the right to not pay. Generally, we do not pay overdrafts if you are not making regular deposits, or you have excessive overdrafts, or based on your account history and how you maintain your account. We may pay overdrafts for checks and other transactions using your account number and for automatic bill payments (ACH and recurring debit transactions), and if you give us permission, we may authorize and pay overdrafts for ATM transactions and everyday non‐recurring debit transactions (individual debit card purchases such as grocery store or one‐time online purchases). Our expectation is you bring your account to a positive balance immediately (including payment of all bank fees and charges). If we choose to not pay the item, it will be returned.

To get precise details about our bank’s policies regarding overdrafts and item presentment, review your Deposit Account Agreement. This document outlines the specific terms and conditions related to your account, including fees and procedures. A copy of the agreement can be found on www.fnbo.com or you can request a copy of this at your local branch location.

If you have any doubts, consider reaching out to our Banking Associates directly for clarification. Our contact information is listed below.

Wire Fees for Consumer Depository Accounts²

The following fees are associated with wire transfers on a consumer checking account:

Incoming Domestic Wire Transactions - Free

• Outgoing Domestic: $15

• Outgoing Foreign (Foreign Funds): $25

• Outgoing Foreign (US Funds): $35

The fees referenced above are charged the same day the wire is initiated. The following business day, we will waive the wire fees referenced above. Saturday, Sunday, and bank holidays are not considered business days. Fee refunds apply to consumer (personal) deposit accounts only. Intermediate Bank Fees related to international wire transfers will NOT be a part of the refund; these vary by transaction and will be the responsibility of the account owner(s). Questions can be directed to our contact information listed below.

Free Safe Deposit Box

Private Banking customers will receive one free annual safe deposit box rental per household. This means we will waive the annual fee on one safe deposit box per household, per year. A household is defined as a designated address for the checking account. This can be on any size safe deposit box. Clients who own multiple boxes will only have one box a year waived with that being the most expensive box.

Please note, our Disclosure of Account Terms for Safe Deposit Box Accounts references a $25.00 discount towards the annual fee on their safe deposit box for Premier Checking, Free Checking, and Access Debit Checking customers. This offer is in lieu of your $25.00 discount.

The fee will be waived prior to the annual billing cycle.

If you have any doubts, consider reaching out to our Banking Associates directly for clarification. Refer to the Disclosure of Account Terms for Safe Deposit Box Accounts for complete information regarding all fees and terms associated with safe deposit box rental.
