Dakota is a Portfolio Manager with Private Wealth Reserve within FNBO Wealth. In this role, he works directly with individual and institutional clients to develop tailored investment strategies aligned with their unique goals and objectives. He prides himself on building strong relationships and serving as a trusted, reliable asset to his clients.

Credentials

Dakota brings more than 10 years of industry experience to his role and serves on the Due Diligence Committee. 

Dakota joined FNBO Wealth in 2025 following the acquisition of Country Club Trust Company, where he served as Associate Portfolio Manager. Prior to that, he was a Senior Associate at State Street in Kansas City, Missouri, where he managed investor operations for domestic and internationally held mutual funds.

He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and International Business from Washburn University, including an international study experience in Wuhan, Hubei, China. He is a CFA® charterholder and an active member of the CFA Society of Kansas City.

Passions

A Kansas native, Dakota has planted roots in the Kansas City area where he enjoys life with his wife, daughter and their golden retriever, Roger. Outside of work, you'll find him on the golf course, out on the water fishing or in the field duck hunting. A true KC sports fan, he's always cheering on his hometown teams.
