Scott serves as Director of Research for Private Wealth Reserve within FNBO Wealth. He leads the research efforts supporting Asset Allocation and Due Diligence for the investment management team. He is responsible for managing portfolios for high net worth clients, personal trusts, institutions, foundations and endowments.
Scott heads the Due Diligence Committee, in charge of researching equity, fixed income, ESG and alternative investment strategies. He is also a voting member of the firm's asset allocation committee where he is responsible for sourcing new ideas and presenting a thorough analysis of various investment management trends, economic trends and data, mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs and individual securities.
Credentials
Scott began his career at FNBO in 2010 and has worked in various capacities within the organization. Prior to joining the Investment Management team, Scott worked at FNBO's other subsidiary, Tributary Capital Management, where he prepared research and analysis on equities for the security team, and provided data analysis and reporting for the firm.
Scott holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is an active member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Nebraska. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance and Economics from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and went on to earn his MBA and Master of Investment Management and Financial Analysis from Creighton University.
Passions
Scott is passionate about continuous learning and helping people. Outside of the office, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and keeping up with his two boys and baby girl. Prior to having children, he loved golf and the challenge it posed against himself to get better.
