What's Changing for ACH Positive Pay / Debit Block

  • ACH Positive Pay cutoff times will change and will occur later than at CCB.
  • Default decisioning and alert behavior will be applied at conversion.
  • Mobile decisioning will not be available; decisioning must be completed on a desktop.

How ACH Positive Pay Works at FNBO

At FNBO, ACH Positive Pay presents ACH debit items for review so users can make a Pay or Return decision before posting. Existing payment rules will be converted at conversion.

All users will initially be set up to decision items and manage payment rules. If permission changes are needed, an account administrator can make those updates.

User Access

  • Users will be set up as part of conversion.
  • Decisioning must be completed using a desktop device; mobile decisioning is not available at FNBO.
  • New users added following conversion must be managed by an account administrator.

Reporting

  • Historical ACH Positive Pay reports will not be converted.
  • Customers should download or print needed reports prior to September 10.

Decisioning & Cutoff Times

  • ACH Positive Pay decisioning cutoff time will be 6:00 p.m. CT, which is later than CCB.
  • Items not decisioned by the cutoff will follow the default decision selected on your Master Enrollment Agreement.
  • Exception items requiring decisioning may be presented up until 4:00 p.m. CT.
  • By default, decisioning rules are set at the account level. Customers who prefer default decisioning at the profile level may contact their Treasury Sales Representative.

Alerts & Notifications

  • Customers will automatically receive email alerts when ACH items are presented for decisioning.
  • Alerts are sent by email only; text notifications are not available.
  • Alerts may be delivered throughout the day as ACH files are received.
  • A reminder alert is sent at 2:00 p.m. CT.
  • In some cases, multiple alerts may be received up until 4:00 p.m. CT if additional items require action.

  • ACH Debit Block is available for accounts that should not allow ACH debits.
  • This service blocks all ACH debit transactions from posting to the account.
  • Fees must be charged to an operating account.
  • Positive Pay is unavailable for consumer accounts.
  • Customers interested in ACH Debit Block should contact their Treasury Sales Representative for additional details.
