Nathan is a Senior Advisor for FNBO’s Community Banking Group. He advises business customers on complex financial strategies, focusing on encouraging growth while protecting against undue risk. Nathan is a relationship builder, successfully guiding the commercial clients he serves by gaining an uncommon understanding of each organization’s short and long-term goals.
Nathan has more than a decade of experience in banking, first setting his roots in the ground as a part-time teller. Since then, he has pursued roles in retail banking, rising from teller to branch manager where he earned 5 employee recognitions and served on the Retail Ambassador Team for 18 months. From there, he transferred to mortgage lending as a loan originator before moving into his current role in community banking. This depth of experience has provided him with broad set of skills and expertise to better assist his commercial customers in all of their endeavors.
Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The University of Nebraska at Kearney, where he also earned a minor in Accounting.
Time outside the office, for Nathan, revolves around family life. He and his spouse have three children, whose various activities keep them very busy. When he can carve moments away from their hectic schedule, the family heads to the lake, for some fun in the sun. Nathan rounds out his free time with civic involvement. He is a Leadership Kearney Class 27 participant, current board member of the Young Professional Network and a volunteer teacher and event team captain for Junior Achievement.
