As a Vice President of Commercial Banking, Steve strives to exceed customer expectations by going above and beyond. He helps Omaha-area organizations achieve business success by gaining a thorough understanding of each client’s situation. Acting as a business partner, he is then able to develop personalized solutions to support their strategies and accomplish their objectives.
Prior to joining First National Bank of Omaha in 2014, Steve was a practicing Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a career he initiated while in college playing baseball for the Creighton University Bluejays. His experience in audit, review and compilation engagements, as well as preparing corporate tax returns, has prepared him to be a more versatile commercial banker.
Steve achieved a BSBA in Accounting with honors from Creighton University and holds a Certified Public Accountant License. He is a board member of the Sarpy County Economic Development Committee and the Omaha Chamber's Leadership Omaha Class 42.
When Steve is not coaching youth sports, or attending the varied activities of his children, he manages to carve out a few moments to pursue his passion for golf, as well as other athletics. He serves on the Young Leaders Council of the Make-a-Wish Foundation, helping children with critical illnesses to realize their dreams.
Professionally, there's nothing more rewarding than being considered a valuable resource to a customer.
