Shane is a Vice President of Agribusiness Banking at FNBO, providing capital and financial solutions to customers in agriculture. Shane especially enjoys learning what makes a business successful and assisting them in obtaining their goals, all while developing a trusted, long-lasting relationship. Born and raised in South Dakota, Shane now calls Fort Collins, Colorado home and is proud to support the business and agricultural communities he now serves.

Credentials and Education

Beginning a career that ultimately spanned over 25 years in banking, Shane started his career at FNBO as a management trainee, learning all aspects of the bank before expanding into credit and lending roles that included managing a large commercial lending portfolio, and most recently, assisting thousands of borrowers with PPP loan forgiveness. Shane has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of New Mexico and an MBA from Colorado State University.

Passions

Shane is an avid golfer who enjoys time with his family, follows college athletics (Go Lobos!), and reads when the day allows. Dedication to community has also been a focus for Shane as he assists in raising money for the United Way, serves on the finance committee for the Impact Development Fund, and fundraises for junior golfers via Youth on Course. Shane has also served on the board for the Boys and Girls Club of Larimer County.
