Ann Nelson

Ann is a Senior Director and Community Manager at FNBO. Her role is multifaceted as she guides both internal resources and clients toward well-defined end goals. Her work with banking customers is grounded in the belief that financial institutions should be a one-stop shop for business needs. She is proud to work for a bank that does just that, allowing her to serve mid-market organizations with the essential capital, lending and payment services needed to give new businesses a solid start and to help propel growth well into the future.

Credentials

Ann has been active in banking for over 30 years. She began her work in financial services as a commercial lender and fulfilled roles as branch manager, bank president, and regional president before assuming her current position at FNBO. Ann earned dual bachelor degrees from the University of Wyoming, one in Accounting and one in Business Management. She is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, where she also taught the capstone course, BankSim, for 9 years.

Passion

Ann loves the outdoors and will walk or hike year-round to enjoy the beauties of nature. As the weather warms, she may also take to paddleboarding or escape into the deep backcountry where she enjoys camping with her husband.
