Shem Slater is a Senior Client Experience Manager at FNBO, bringing 15 years of industry expertise in relationship management and partner collaboration to the bank. He works directly with FiServ, bank branches, and sales executives to ensure a smooth, issue-free merchant experience. His role involves reporting, problem solving, and identifying technology solutions to ensure that the client merchant enrollment process and activation goes off without a hitch.
Shem’s career with FNBO began in 2007 when he took a role in front-line technical support. His dedication and drive were just a few of the reasons he quickly rose into management positions. Shem has led technical teams both inside FNBO and with other organizations and is currently a college senior, with plans to graduate in 2022.
Shem describes himself as a “huge football fan.” Whether he’s watching the sport, playing flag football or participating in a fantasy league, he is involved with the game.
When the season ends, he trades his football in for a bicycle, often logging 250 miles a month when the weather permits. Shem also considers himself a technology buff. He likes to keep pace with the newest trends or breakthroughs and spends at least an hour every day perusing the latest updates on Endgadget. However, his biggest passion is his family and enjoying the outdoors with them, camping and hiking.
Despite having such a lively life, Shem still makes time to support his community and has organized activities for the United way and helps with fundraising activities for MICAH House.
