As Vice President of the Commercial Lending Group, Douglas is responsible for managing and developing commercial lending relationships across several industries, particularly manufacturing, construction, service, transportation, and distribution. He enjoys his role at First National Bank because it provides him with an opportunity to assist his community.
Douglas began his career in finance in 2003. He has held positions in Global Banking, focusing on international wires and foreign cash letters, before becoming a credit analyst and later a lender in Correspondent and Community Banking. He has a BSBA in Marketing, with a minor in Economics, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and an MBA from Creighton University. Douglas is a member of the risk Management Association and the Nebraska Bankers Association.
Douglas is deeply concerned about his community and dedicates his time to many civic organizations. He is on the Board of Directors for Together Inc., on the advisory council for Youth Frontiers of Omaha, and serves on the advisory board for the Methodist College Surgical Technology Program. In his free time, Douglas enjoys golfing, hunting and reading.
I enjoy building lasting relationships and working with others to help them achieve their goals and help them grow.
