Luis Alicea, LCAM

Luis Alicea, LCAM

Acting as Director in the Community Banking Division at FNBO, Luis collaborates with community, homeowners and condominium associations, as well as community association management companies, to support capital and funding needs. He understands that every organization has different financial goals and builds deep relationships with his clients, to offer the right solutions at the right time. This involves tailoring loans and deposit products to the specific financial objectives of each association and ensuring easy access to banking solutions.

Credentials

Over the course of two decades, Luis has amassed a vast array of experience through two pivotal roles. He began his career as a Community Association Manager in South Florida. Here, he oversaw a diverse portfolio of condominium and homeowners associations, developing and implementing budgeting and financial planning strategies. He later moved to banking as an Association Banking Advisor. His efforts involved educating managers and association board members on financial matters and leading the way toward financial stability and growth through strategic planning and customized banking solutions. Luis is happy to bring his broad range of experience to FNBO and to help bank customers meet their goals.

Luis received specialized training through an enlistment with the US Navy and is currently a Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM) in the State of Florida.

Passions

When away from the office, Luis enjoys spending time with his wife of 26 years and their sons. He also has a strong interest in sports, stemming from his childhood, when he seized every opportunity to play football, basketball or volleyball. He sees his lifelong engagement with sports as more than a pastime. It’s been a continued source of exhilaration and the key to developing discipline and a range of meaningful relationships throughout his life.

Expanding from team sports into more solo pursuits, Luis has recently developed a keen interest in photography. It's an interest that complements his active lifestyle, enabling him to document moments from the sports he loves as well as the world around him. It's a new path of expression for Luis and a way to share his viewpoint with others.
