Barbara is a Financial Planner with the Private Client Advisory and Financial Planning teams within the Wealth Management group at First National Bank. She specializes in providing comprehensive and personalized financial planning that incorporates investment, retirement, tax, protection and estate planning strategies.
Barbara earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Christian University. She spent 20 years of her career in corporate finance before deciding to pursue a more rewarding path of financial planning for individuals.
Barbara holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®). In addition, she is actively involved with the Financial Planning Association of Nebraska.
Barbara’s compassion for animals is evident by her long-time involvement with the Nebraska Humane Society and the Friends Forever Board. On any given weekend, you will catch her Dining with Dogs, Walking for the Animals, or mixing it up at Black Tie & Tails.
Family time is spent exploring the world with her husband, keeping up with their teenage boys, and trying to teach their Brittany that squirrels are not the enemy.
