Elena is a Director of Account Management at FNBO who specializes in optimizing card programs and streamlining payment processes for commercial clients. She takes a proactive approach to problem solving, working directly with customers to identify pain points across the procure-to-pay lifecycle. Acting as a key liaison with local businesses, Elena implements solutions that help reduce fraud, enhance efficiency and improve expense tracking for better financial outcomes.

Credentials

With a storied history in banking, Elena has earned a reputation for delivering results. She began her career as a teller, gaining invaluable experience in banking operations and serving customer needs. From there, her work expanded to the role of Compliance Analyst, assisting the Operations Department with critical compliance objectives. Interested in moving back to a customer-facing role, she gained proficiency in multiple areas of banking operations through FNBO’s Management Trainee program, before taking her current position as Director of Account Management. Elena graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln with a degree in International Business, and from Washington State University with an MBA.

Passions

Elena’s greatest joy in life comes from spending time with her husband and 2 young children. Together, they share a passion for all things Disney. They love taking trips to Disneyland and enjoying live performances, such as Disney on Ice or Disney Junior Live. Elena also has a passion for hiking in the great outdoors, picking up a good book or taking in a good country concert. She regularly volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and the Open Door Mission.
