Credentials

Nate's banking career began in the summer of 2019 following his college graduation, starting as a Credit Analyst and Internal Evaluator where he built foundational customer relationships through financial statement analysis, appraisal inspections, and direct client interactions. He advanced to Assistant Vice President in Lending, where he expanded his expertise across agriculture, commercial, consumer, and real estate transactions. In this role, Nate developed his skills in underwriting and loan structuring, refining his custom and adaptable lending approach—recognizing that each customer presents a unique puzzle requiring tailored solutions. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from Doane University in May 2019.

Passions

Nate is deeply invested in the Norfolk community where he grew up and continues to live. He serves as an active member of the Norfolk Area Chamber, regularly attending networking events, chamber coffees, and business grand openings. As a long-time member and elder at Our Savior Church in Norfolk, Nate demonstrates his commitment to faith and community leadership. He also serves on an HOA board as an ARB approver for a local development in Pierce County. Nate volunteers his time maintaining the local community golf course—mowing, raking leaves, trimming, and picking up the range—and packs storage meals for those in need internationally through Mercy Meals-Norfolk. At home, Nate and his wife enjoy tackling DIY projects together, from painting and tile work to refinishing kitchen cabinets. He stays active through running the trails at the local lake, golfing when weather permits, and maintaining his yard with precision. Nate also enjoys cruising in an old Chevy truck he restored with his dad during high school—a testament to his appreciation for craftsmanship and family connection.
