FNBO Announces 2026 City Ambassadors

Omaha, NE, January 1, 2026 – FNBO (First National Bank of Omaha) is proud to announce its 2026 City Ambassadors, a group of 22 employees helping to support communities across the bank’s nine-state footprint.

“Our City Ambassadors show up for their communities in incredible ways,” said Christina Kahler, Vice President, Community Impact. “Their dedication to advancing financial literacy, workforce development and affordable housing makes a genuine impact where it matters most.”

City Ambassadors lead the Impact by FNBO strategy in local communities by providing direction and visibility for community work internally and externally. They drive local decisions on philanthropic giving and serve as leaders and key points of contact in the community, while helping to ensure employees are engaged in volunteer service and elevating community needs and successes.

“City Ambassadors aren’t just part of our strategy – they embody our values as a bank,” said David Cota, Executive Vice President, Banking. “They’re deeply invested in our commitment to community, ensuring we show up meaningfully in all the places we call home.”

In 2025, FNBO’s City Ambassadors helped direct nearly $2.5 million in philanthropic support in communities outside of Omaha. They are appointed for one-year terms, though with their depth of expertise and commitment, many serve for more than a year in the role.
