Adam Bierhaus
Adam Bierhaus is a Director of Community Banking at FNBO, sharing his diverse experience across business, finance and agriculture with banking customers. His work within the community is individualized, focused on each client’s needs and unique situation. Combining his career expertise with a laser focused customer commitment, he helps devise cash management and treasury services that support business growth, while facilitating access to capital.
Credentials
Adam’s career spans two decades in accounting and finance. During this time, he has served a combination of for profit, non-profit and government entities. His past roles covered a broad range of accounting functions and include positions as Audit Manager and Financial Controller, where he oversaw day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, audit, and administrative teams. These include HR, Commodities, Marketing, and IT staff. Adam earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Professional Accountancy, both from University of Nebraska.
Passions
For Adam, life is all about faith, family, and fresh air. His greatest joy comes from spending time with his wife and their three children. Whether he’s coaching from the sidelines or cheering from the bleachers, Adam is always there to support his kids and be part of their journey.
From camping and boating to hiking, kayaking, hunting and fishing, Adam has enjoyed many off-grid excursions into some of the country’s most breathtaking landscapes, including the Grand Canyon, Lake Mead, Lake Powel, and Zion, Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks.
Adam is a proud supporter of Husker athletics and loves to round out the day riding down a quiet two-track road with his Yellow Lab, Sadie, to catch a perfect Nebraska sunset. You can also find Adam supporting his community as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Capital Humane Society, Cairo Community Foundation, Centura Public School – Boosters, Cairo Base Association, Village of Cairo, and as an active member of Christ Lutheran Church.
