Justin Christenson
As a Director and Vice President of Business Banking, Justin is a knowledgeable financial resource for area businesses. Listening to customers is his forte, as he focuses on supporting business financial health so companies can stay focused on creating impactful outcomes. He believes that a bank relationship manager should always be looking for available opportunities, offering clear and reliable guidance to clients along the way.
Credentials
Justin’s career in commercial banking spans multiple decades and lines of business, including lending, banking analytics, real estate and business acquisitions. He began gaining industry experience in 1999 as a credit analyst, and quickly moved into positions such as Senior Personal Banker and Small Business Specialist, before becoming a Vice President of Business Banking in 2007. His time between now and then has been well spent as he led some of the world’s top financial institutions to grow stronger commercial client relationships. He now brings his passion and drive to FNBO, where his expertise will help support commercial clients across Wyoming. Justin earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Management from Brigham Young University as well as a Master of Business Administration with a Finance and Accounting emphasis from Regis University.
Passions
Outside the office, Justin seeks adventure and usually finds it. He has hiked the Colorado trail as well as the 2-day southbound hike in the Narrows of Zion National Park. For 4 years he has competed in multiday road biking events and topped it off with the Leadville Race Series, where he competed by peddle and by foot. To keep fit for his many adventures, he enjoys crossfit and weightlifting. Justin is also an active youth advisor for his church, a Boy Scouts of America-Advancement Guide, Eagle Scout Project Coordinator and Outdoor Guide as well as a Laramie Rotary Club member. He volunteers for the Paddocks Homeowners Association and Bayaud Enterprises, specializing in community outreach.
