Steven Fish
Steven is a Senior Advisor for Agribusiness Banking. He draws on his personal experience owning a diversified ranch in south central Nebraska to bring specialized expertise to his work with large commercial clients across the industry. To aid clients in achieving growth, he helps to identify business challenges and provides banking solutions that move the needle toward operational goals. In this role, Steven is honored to work with some of the very best people within agriculture.
Credentials
Steven’s deep understanding of agriculture stems from personal ownership of a successful farming venture and his involvement in various positions pertaining to farm management and real estate. He entered banking on the collateral evaluation team at FNBO, performing inspections at farms and ranches, before assuming his current role. Steven earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and is working toward his MBA in Finance from Creighton University. He is a member of the Nebraska Cattlemen and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.
Passions
Despite his professional responsibilities, Steven has a deep connection to the land and still enjoys working on the farm or ranch. It’s an activity that keeps him in touch with the roots of his industry. Steven also relishes the opportunity to challenge himself on the course through a round of golf, is an avid hunter and nurtures a passion for aviation.
