Robert Heck
Robert is a Senior Advisor of Community Banking at FNBO, acting as a personal liaison between small business customers and eligible banking solutions. His goal is to provide an optimal banking experience by listening to customer challenges and concerns before providing valuable feedback, all designed to help client operations meet financial goals and growth plans.
Credentials
Robert’s career history is dotted by some interesting experiences. His early work was dominated by sports, as he pursued roles with Rockford Lightning Professional Basketball and Schaumburg Flyers Professional Baseball teams. For both franchises, he executed a variety of essential tasks, including managing the game-day experience. His early career set him up for his next role with ISP Sports and IMG College, where he managed corporate sponsor relationships for Northern Illinois University athletics.
Leaving his career in sports marketing, Robert joined FNBO in 2012 as a Personal Banker, later transitioning to Senior Personal Banker, before moving into his current position in community banking.
Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Northern Illinois University and is the President of the Sycamore Chamber of Commerce.
Passions
Robert is a sports enthusiast and enjoys watching the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls, and NIU Huskies. He is also personally involved with playing a variety of sports, including softball, basketball, volleyball, and golf.
Robert has three young children and loves spending time with them as well as volunteering with organizations, such as the Kishwaukee United Way and 4C: Community Coordinated Child Care where he is a board member and president.
