Erica Herman

As a Director of Community Banking, Erica is fascinated by her clients’ stories, particularly the innovative ways they have come to build a business and achieve financial success. She takes these insights, and an acute understanding of her clients’ goals, to develop personalized services, including lending products and fraud prevention solutions. Erica is proud to play a part in the commercial success of each and every customer.

Credentials

Out of college, Erica used her degree first as a lobbyist in the South Dakota legislature, before beginning work on Senator John Thune’s first congressional campaign. After his successful nomination, she transitioned to a career in banking, starting out as a credit analyst and later moving into roles as a Commercial Relationship Banker. Erica earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a Business Administration minor from Black Hills State University and has taken graduate classes in accounting at Montana State University to further her analysis skills.

Passions

When warm weather comes, it’s lake time for Erica and her family, whose favorite vacation is a trip to Lake Powell every year. She is also dedicated to her Greeley/Weld County community. For over 17 years Erica has served various local organizations, including Envision and Creative Support For People with Developmental Disabilities . She currently serves on the Northern Colorado Leadership Council for American Cancer Society, as Advisory Board Member for East Colorado Small Business Development Centers and as Advisory Board Member for Assistance League of Greeley. In addition to her various board positions, Erica acts as a volunteer coach with her husband and kids and works to support the fund-raising efforts of a multitude of non-profit organizations throughout northern Colorado.
