Josh is motivated by a strong desire to see business owners impact the world through their core values and entrepreneurial spirit. He is particularly intrigued by the unique opportunities and challenges that come with family owned businesses, and he works hard to help them realize their full potential.

Josh is the Vice President of Business Owner Advisory Services. He is uniquely suited for this role having spent his entire career working for and with family businesses and being a discerning observer of their decisions. Josh has years of experience leading groups through complex issues and advising families in collaborative decision making. He also has first-hand experience having worked on job sites with three generations of his own family, collecting generational stories, and curating family value discussions within his own family.

Credentials

Josh is a Certified Exit Planner (CEXP) and Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA), and since 2007 has advised FNBO’s business clients and their families through many financial planning decisions. Josh was previously a Director in the Wealth Management Group where he served business owners in their financial planning and investment management needs. Josh works collaboratively with business owners and their advisors to proactively prepare for succession and business transitions, protect from disruption, and prosper in their relationships.

Passions

Josh lives in Illinois with his family, and serves his community as an elected City Council member and as an Economic Advisory Council member for Congresswoman Lauren Underwood of the 14th Congressional District.
