Matt's banking career spans almost 30 years, with 20 years dedicated to serving Colorado businesses. His journey began as a Commercial Analyst/Underwriter, progressing through roles as Portfolio Manager before advancing to Relationship Manager and bringing his extensive experience to FNBO. Throughout his career, Matt has focused on traditional commercial and industrial businesses, as well as commercial real estate, working collaboratively with business owners to navigate their specific banking needs with strategic insight and flexibility. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas A&M University's Mays Business School in College Station, Texas.

Passions

For Matt, family comes first. He and his wife are proud parents to their daughter Lilli, a second-generation Aggie in the class of 2026, and they cherish every opportunity to spend time with her. Matt's Texas A&M spirit runs deep—though he admits that can be challenging at times! He loves the outdoors and enjoys spending time in northern Michigan on the Great Lakes. His commitment to community impact is demonstrated through years of volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, where he helps provide housing solutions for families in need as well as supporting other non-profits including Sewall Child Development Center in Denver and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
