Ryan brings an extensive depth of industry expertise to his role as Director of Financial Institutions at FNBO. Decades of experience across correspondent, commercial, and retail banking have given him a unique insight into the challenges and opportunities facing community and regional banks. Through personalized discussions with each institution, Ryan helps to isolate core strategies and to develop the treasury management, global banking, credit, fixed income, and capital markets solutions banking clients need to excel in a competitive industry.

Credentials

With over 25 years in the banking space, including 19 years as a relationship manager, Ryan has worked with financial institutions of varying sizes across the country. To best meet the needs of his clients, he has developed connections with a broad array of product partners, gaining valuable solution-specific expertise to augment his considerable knowledge in financial areas. Ryan holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has completed the Advanced Schools of Banking through the Nebraska/Kansas Bankers Association. He is a diploma recipient from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado-Boulder and holds active SIE, 79, and 63 licenses.

Passions

Outside of work, Ryan focuses on the things that matter most—spending time with family and friends, often cheering on his children in their various activities. He’s an avid fan of live music, golfing and fishing, and is passionate about giving back to his community. Ryan currently supports multiple organizations with his time, including Lincoln Zoo, Habitat for Humanity, Peoples City Mission, City Impact, and organizations supporting local refugees.
