The conversion will take place over the weekend of July 24-26, 2026. Your new money movement experience will be available on July 27, 2026.
This conversion will impact BillPay, Transfers (between your FNBO accounts), and Loan and Line of Credit Payment experiences. Online and mobile banking, including transfers, loans and line of credit payments, will have limited availability from July 24–26. BillPay will be unavailable end of business day July 24–26.
The payment method is determined by the payee's capabilities to receive electronic payments. When you add a payee, our system automatically validates whether they can accept electronic payments. Based on this validation, the system will display how payments to that specific payee will be sent, either electronically or via paper check, so you can plan accordingly and understand expected delivery times.
Send/Scheduled Date - For electronic payments, this is when funds are withdrawn from your account. For check payments, this is when the check is issued and sent out.
Deliver Date - For electronic payments, this is the anticipated date the payee receives the funds. For check payments, this is the expected date the payee might receive the check.
It depends on the payment method. If the payment is sent electronically, it's generally delivered to the payee on the business day following when funds leave your account. If sent via check, the process takes longer due to mailing times. When you set up your payments, the calendar view will show you the anticipated delivery date and send date after delivery date for each payment based on the payment method.
It depends on the type of payment:
Bill payments: If your scheduled delivery date falls on a weekend or federal holiday, your bill payment will be delivered the business day prior to the scheduled delivery date. The date funds leave your account automatically adjusts to an earlier date to ensure the delivery date is met.
Loan/LOC payments or internal transfers: Payments scheduled on weekends and holidays begin processing on the scheduled date and are credited the next business day. For transfer funds are available on the scheduled date.
Yes, you can place stop payments on BillPay issued checks through online banking. Regular Stop Payment fees will apply.
Electronic payments are processed and debited from your account one business day before the selected delivery date. Check payments are typically sent 5–7 business days before the selected delivery date to help ensure timely delivery. Funds will be withdrawn from your account when the check is presented for payment by the payee.
Access to BillPay is complimentary with any FNBO checking account, however some fees apply:
- BillPay Expedited Check Fee A $35 fee will be assessed when expedited processing is selected for an eligible outgoing check payment if available for the payee.
During conversion, a payee with missing or incorrect information may not have been set up in the new system.
Possibly. The method (electronic or check) may change with the new system. You should review the payment method associated with your converted payments and make adjustments as needed to allow sufficient time for delivery.
The new system requires: name of payee, mailing address, phone number, and customer/account number (if paying a business). Payees without this complete information may be placed on hold or may not convert fully.
Payees may be placed on hold due to incomplete or outdated information. If this happens, you'll need to update the payee information, and scheduled payment deliveries may be impacted.
Scheduled payments are now assigned to individual account holders. If you have a joint account, check with the other account holder(s) – the payment may have been converted to their login profile. In certain circumstances, payments may not have been converted to our new BillPay system and may need to be re-established. Use the demo walkthrough to see how to set up a payment.
