Phil Bryde is a Director of Commercial Card Account Management at FNBO, bringing over 15 years of specialized experience in commercial card and payment technology to help businesses modernize how they manage expenses and execute payments. His work centers on educating clients and building strategic account relationships - guiding organizations through the adoption of T&E cards, expense management platforms, and virtual card solutions that streamline accounts payable and reduce reliance on paper-based processes. Phil's approach is rooted in practical expertise and a genuine commitment to helping clients unlock working capital, reduce costs, and operate more efficiently.

Credentials

Phil's career in commercial payments spans over 15 years of progressive experience in new business development and payments product specialization, serving clients across Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska. Prior to joining FNBO, he held roles as a Commercial Card and Payments Product Sales Specialist and Working Capital Advisor - deepening his expertise in helping businesses leverage payment technology as a strategic financial tool.

At FNBO, Phil helps clients address real operational pain points: reducing interest expense by building working capital, consolidating card and banking relationships under one roof, eliminating the administrative burden of manual accounts payable runs, and migrating away from costly paper check processes. He also works to facilitate card acceptance between buyers and suppliers - creating value on both sides of the transaction - and helps businesses navigate the nuances of corporate versus personal liability structures. Phil holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance and an MBA, both earned from Avila University in Kansas City, Missouri.

Passions

Outside of work, Phil channels his energy into projects and causes that reflect a long-term mindset. He is an active renovator of his 1912 Kansas City home. He is equally passionate about financial literacy, homeownership education, and life investment planning for young people, believing that early financial knowledge creates lasting opportunity. Phil also gives back to his community through his involvement with Bags of Fun KC and through his service with Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Kansas City.
