As Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking, John Grose leads FNBO's operations in the Omaha, Lincoln, Beatrice and Fremont markets. In addition to his regional leadership role, John serves on the Business Segment leadership team with responsibilities for driving the strategic direction of the bank's digital experience and contributing to ongoing enterprise strategic initiatives focused on process transformation.

John brings extensive experience as a proven strategic business leader known for building strong relationships with teams and customers. Prior to his current role, he served as FNBO's head of Corporate Banking, where he was responsible for the bank's Corporate and Specialty Banking teams.

Credentials

John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Business Administration from Creighton University. He has served on the boards of the Association for Corporate Growth and the First National of Nebraska Community Development Corporation.

Passions

John has dedicated his professional faculties to two civic organizations, acting as treasurer for the Greater Omaha Alliance for Business Ethics and as Board Chair for Angels Among Us. John spends most of his personal time with his wife and 3 kids and enjoys cooking, coaching his kids in sports, keeping fit and the occasional round of golf.
