Troy Strom

As Director, Commercial Payments Advisor, Troy serves as a trusted consultant to businesses, partnering closely with clients to uncover their operational challenges and objectives. He designs customized banking solutions to drive greater efficiency across the payment lifecycle and maximize outcomes from payment processes. With deep expertise in payment methods, technologies, strategies, and market trends, Troy delivers tailored guidance that streamlines cash management to enhance overall business performance.

Credentials

Troy’s career in banking spans over a quarter decade and encompasses leadership roles, including Market President Commercial Team Lead and Senior Commercial Lender, working for major banks. Throughout his time in the field, he has designed and implemented leading treasury management and credit solutions to support the cash flow needs of business clients. Troy earned a bachelors in Public Administration/Political Science from Wayne State College and a masters in Public Administration from the University of Nebraska – Omaha. He has a certificate of Executive Leadership and is a member of major professional organizations, including the Omaha Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Council, the Omaha Chamber of Commerce Manufacturer’s Council, the Sarpy County Chamber Governance Committee, West O Chamber of Commerce and a long-time member of the Nebraska State Chamber of Commerce.  Troy also maintains membership in the Omaha Medical Society.

Passions

A sports enthusiast at heart, Troy splits his free time between golf, pickleball and fishing the streams and lakes near home. However, his favorite moments are spent with his family and friends as they explore new destinations together through travel.
