As a Trust Associate, Jake assists with the administration of revocable and irrevocable trusts and the estate settlement process, providing thoughtful support to clients and the trust team throughout each stage.
CREDENTIALS
Jake began his banking and wealth management career in 2020 and has built experience supporting clients through trust and financial services roles. Prior to joining FNBO Wealth, he spent two years with North American Savings Bank, where he specialized in clearing title requirements for mortgage loans, followed by more than three years with Country Club Trust Company as a Trust Client Associate.
In 2025, Jake joined FNBO Wealth as part of the acquisition of Country Club Trust Company, continuing his commitment to delivering exceptional service and building trusted client relationships.
He earned a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication from Northwest Missouri State University and holds a Human Resources Certificate from Villanova University.
PASSIONS
Outside of work, Jake has been an active musician for more than 26 years, performing as a drummer in multiple bands across the country and sharing the stage with nationally recognized artists, including Cheap Trick and Everclear.
Jake is passionate about animal rescue and has supported local boxer rescue organizations for many years. He currently shares his home with his rescued boxer, who joined his family in 2019.
A lifelong Iowa Hawkeyes fan, Jake enjoys following Hawkeye athletics, experimenting in the kitchen as an avid home cook and giving back to the Kansas City Vietnamese community. As a survivor of Operation Babylift during the Vietnam War, Jake has a deep appreciation for his heritage and is committed to supporting and celebrating the local Vietnamese community.
