Dean is Director of Trust Services at FNBO Wealth. He brings a rare combination of legal acumen and hands-on trust expertise to his work, guiding clients through complex fiduciary matters including qualified retirement plan administration, special needs trusts and closely held business administration. With more than 30 years in trust services, Dean is a trusted resource for clients, colleagues and professional advisors navigating intricate legal and fiduciary challenges.

CREDENTIALS

Before joining FNBO Wealth as part of the Country Club Trust Company acquisition, Dean served as Executive Vice President and Trust Counsel at Country Club Trust Company, where he managed client relationships and oversaw complex legal and fiduciary matters across trust administration.

Dean joined the organization in 1994 and has built a distinguished career in trust services ever since.

Prior to his trust career, he practiced law with the Kansas City firms of Armstrong, Teasdale, Schlafley & Davis and Burnstein & Beck, P.C., focusing on estate planning, corporate tax planning, qualified retirement plans, individual income tax and charitable tax planning.

Dean earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri–Columbia. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association.

PASSIONS

In his time away from work, Dean loves traveling to spend time with his four children and their families, including his 10 grandchildren. He is also active in serving with his church.
