Leah Thomas

Leah is a Trust Associate at FNN Trust Company in Mitchell, South Dakota serving individuals, business and foundations. Primary responsibilities include assisting Trust Advisors to help families identify and meet their financial goals, processing transactions on client accounts and maintaining client relationship support.

Credentials

Leah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Political Science from Minnesota State University and is working toward earning her Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA).

Leah has experience with mortgage, insurance and self- directed IRAs. Prior to working in the financial industry, Leah worked in Children’s Mental Health for the State of South Dakota and understands the importance of how mental illnesses impacts a family’s financial planning.

Passions

Leah immigrated from Rwanda to South Dakota with her parents and seven siblings in 1998.

Leah enjoys spending time on her farm with her husband and two children. She likes to stay active by doing yoga and swimming, and enjoys her quiet time cooking, baking and working in her garden.
